A wraparound carrier, or wrap, is simply a long piece of fabric used to carry a baby in many different positions. Wraps are a favorite among experienced baby wearers due to the comfort and variation they offer. It can seem overwhelming at first, but all our wraps come with detailed instructions and you will quickly get the hang of it after a few times.
Stretchy wraps are wraps made out of stretchable fabric, like the jersey knit used to make T-Shirts. Stretchy wraps are generally easier to use than traditional woven wraps and are great for newborns. They can also be used for toddlers, although they must be wrapped tighter than woven wraps to get enough support. Most people prefer to use a different kind of wrap or carrier once their babies are older, bigger and more active.
