The Maya Tie is based on the Asian style Mei Tai baby carrier. Excellent weight distribution and broad straps make this an amazingly comfortable baby carrier.

The fabric is 100% hand-loomed cotton, woven in Guatemala by artisans working under fair-trade conditions. The dyes used are free of heavy metals and other toxic substances. Hand-loomed fabrics are cooler and more breathable than machine-woven fabrics, and have just the right amount of give. The Maya Wrap fabric is incredibly durable and extremely soft, and will get softer and cushier with use and washing.
